For nearly 20 years, Phoenix Children’s Hospital has been filled with Christmas trees for the holiday season. This year, 97 trees can be found all around campus. Volunteers consisting of donors, corporate groups, civic groups, churches, patients and their families, and employees donate all of the decorations and come to decorate a tree. Phoenix Children’s Volunteer Services is grateful for the community’s giving spirit and the 800 plus volunteers who make this heartwarming tradition happen each year.
The UDA YCs have been decorating a dairy themed tree at Phoenix Children’s Hospital since 2012. This year’s tree is decorated with plush cows which will be donated at the end of the season.
It’s a special project that helps bring smiles to patients and families who spend their holidays at the hospital.
