United Dairymen of Arizona Announces Retirement of CEO

United Dairymen of Arizona has announced that chief executive officer Keith Murfield has submitted his retirement, effective April 1, 2021. Craig Caballero, UDA Board Chairman, will assume the role of interim CEO. The board has begun a search for Mr. Murfield’s successor.

“It has been a privilege working with the best producers and employees in the business. I am proud of all we have accomplished together. I want to thank the team and the board of directors for their support,” said Murfield.

Craig Caballero, chairman of the UDA Board of Directors, said, “On behalf of the board, we thank Keith for his service and many accomplishments during his time as CEO. We will always be grateful for his leadership at a critical time in UDA’s history. We have made significant operational progress under his leadership. We wish Keith and his family the very best.”

Mr. Murfield has been CEO of United Dairymen of Arizona for over 20 years. Under his leadership, the cooperative grew and expanded product offerings with premium ingredients like Lactoferrin and UltraPure Lactose.
