Sustainability is in motion at UDA. Literally. In August 2024, we launched our first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) truck on the road with the goal of lowering emissions from our milk hauling fleet. Since then, UDA has put 31 CNG trucks into service that use Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) sourced from a partner landfill digester. This fleet transition will have positive impacts on communities, significantly reduce emissions, and save costs. CNG trucks are one way UDA is driving innovation in dairy and redefining what responsible production looks like.
