At United Dairymen of Arizona it is our goal to provide a comprehensive benefits package that helps Employees manage their healthcare and retirement needs in order to enhance their quality of life and provide peace of mind.
401(k) Retirement Plan
United Dairymen of Arizona offers all Employees a 401(k) retirement savings plan that is managed by Nationwide Financial Services. The plan offers a pre-tax salary deferral from 1 percent to 60 percent. UDA will also contribute to an optional matching program. For each one percent (1%) an employee contributes, UDA will contribute two percent (2%), up to a maximum of three percent (3%) for the employee and six percent (6%) for UDA. Upon the completion of one year of employment, UDA establishes a retirement fund on behalf of the employee and contributes to this fund an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the employee’s gross annual wages.
Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits
United Dairymen of Arizona offers our full-time Employees comprehensive, competitive Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug plans. UDA provides health care insurance plans for regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents. Employees can select from various coverage plans depending on their particular needs. UDA pays for the major portion of the expense for coverage of both employees and their dependents for all medical benefits.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts can save Employees money by allowing the employees to pay for health care and dependent day care expenses with pre-tax money versus after tax money.
United Dairymen of Arizona provided short term and long term disability insurance through Mutual of Omaha at no cost to the Employee.
United Dairymen of Arizona provides basic life and accidental death coverage for all full-time Employees at no cost. We also offer our Employees the opportunity to elect Supplemental Life Insurance for themselves, their spouse and their dependents.
Employee Assistance Program
United Dairymen of Arizona offers all Employees an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) administered through Aetna. The EAP provides practical solutions, online resources advice and support for difficult issues such as emotional distress, substance abuse, divorce, etc. There is no cost for this benefit.
Health and Wellness
United Dairymen of Arizona offers to all Employees and their families a robust health and wellness program. The program includes an onsite clinic, access to a Fitness Coach and activities. Some of the things UDA does include an annual Flu shot clinics, biometric screenings and healthy food options in the onsite store.
All regular, full-time employees are eligible for vacation time. The amount of paid vacation time employees receive each year increases with the length of their employment.
Part of our benefit package is the attendance incentive UDA offers. Any UDA employee that completes January to December without the use of sick time is paid for eight (8) hours of time at their hourly rate each January of the following year.
United Dairymen of Arizona also offers additional compensation for time worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. to each of its hourly employees.
UDA supports our staff by providing uniforms for each employee to wear at no cost to the employee.
United Dairymen of Arizona encourages employees to further their careers by developing their knowledge, skills and abilities through formal education and training. A regular, full time associate who has completed one full year of employment is eligible to participate in the tuition reimbursement program for coursework that is directly related to the job.
United Dairymen of Arizona knows offers all employees, spouses and eligible dependents access to the 24 hour on-site gym. The gym is equipped with cardio and strength training equipment and is staffed with a personal trainer during peak hours.
As an added benefit to the health insurance program, UDA also offers an on-site clinic open four days a week. The clinic is free to employees, spouses, and eligible dependents.
