Name: Ismael Jimenez

Tell us a little about yourself: Ismael is a native Arizonan, he grew up in Gilbert, Az where he still lives today. He has two daughters and two grandkids.
What is your job at UDA?: Equipment sales/supervisor. Ismael coordinates the Scheduled Maintenance Techs to do repairs or installations on our member dairies. He also does follow-ups and quality assurance to make sure work is done properly.

Have you worked any other positions at UDA?: Ismael started as a Scheduled Maintenance Tech in 1996. He worked in that position for 11 years and moved over to his current position.

What part of your job do you like the most?: He enjoys every part of his job. He likes that it keeps
him busy and being involved in QA, Scheduled Maintenance, and Service. He also loves that his days
go by quickly and he is not stuck in the office all day.

Before working for UDA did you have any interesting or unusual jobs?: Before working for UDA, Ismael worked on Roeloff Dairy in Mesa. He started working with the calves, and eventually moved up to manager. With his extensive dairy experience, he feels like it has made his job at UDA easier.

What kinds of hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?: When Ismael isn’t working he loves to stay active. From running 5 days a week, playing golf, and playing on the UDA softball team, he definitely keeps busy. He also loves to travel; his favorite trip of 2016 was to the Dominican Republic. His favorite place to visit of all time is Cancun. There are lots of fun things to do, like zip-lining through the jungle, and natural water parks for swimming and snorkeling.

What is one thing you can’t live without?: “My family. My kids are my life, but golf is a close second.”
