The Service and Supply Departments are distinctive arms of UDA: the co-op remains one of the last in the country to provide these comprehensive services to producers. They are an integral part of ensuring efficient production of high quality milk.
Service Department
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, UDA's dairy farmers rely on the expertise of the UDA Service Department. With over 150 years of combined experience with UDA; 14 highly skilled technicians provide 24/7 emergency service, an aggressive preventive maintenance program. UDA's Service Department houses over 2,200 parts on site; regardless of how widespread the use is for a particular part, if one dairy needs it, UDA can get it.
Dairy Profiles are maintained which document equipment information on individual dairies (pump sizes, serial numbers, liner types, etc.) The profiles reduce labor costs and provide a powerful training tool for newer technicians.

UDA Field Quality Assurance Technicians
UDA's Quality Assurance Technicians are an important connection for the Co-op and dairy farmers.
Providing quality milk is one of the most important values of the Quality Assurance Techs who offer their support to the farmers in meeting the high standards of the co-op.
They also circulate information, provide feedback on new programs, answer questions and clarify quality guidelines.
In addition, the Quality Assurance Technicians conduct Animal Care Checks and other special reviews to help UDA farmers produce high quality milk efficiently.
